About the Event
Sydney Hydrology Day is an annual one-day forum that brings together researchers and professionals across Sydney to share advances in hydrology and water science more generally. The program blends a panel discussion on "Future of Hydrology" and themed presentation sessions to highlight current research, practical applications, and emerging methods in Hydrology and the Science of Water. With a strong focus on postgraduate and early‑career work, the day fosters collaboration between universities and industry and strengthens the hydrology community within Sydney region.
We invite contributions from researchers across Engineering and Environmental Science, with areas of interest such as water quality, water quantity, ecohydrology, water ecology and water management
This year’s event will be taking place on 10 February 2026.

Registration
The registration fee for the event is $60, which includes lunch and refreshments. Please complete the online registration form to register.

Abstract submission is now open. Please submit your abstracts via Oxford Abstracts by following the link below.
We encourage abstracts for presentations and posters. We will consider a presentation as the first choice. Remember that presentations are just discussion starters on this day! Please e-mail us on soles.pahgisl@sydney.edu.au if you would like to discuss.
